Farmfest - Terms and conditions

1. PURCHASING TICKETS

1.1 Tickets you purchase are for your personal use. Except as we may agree, you and your party must not re-sell or transfer (or seek to re-sell or transfer) the tickets in breach of the applicable terms. A breach of this condition will entitle Farmfest to cancel the tickets without prior notification, refund, compensation or liability.

1.2 A non-refundable booking fee will be added to each transaction.

1.3 If there is a maximum order permitted per person, per card or per household and you order or buy more tickets than the maximum permitted we may cancel all of the order or tickets, in which case you will be refunded the ticket price and any booking, transaction or supplementary fees you have paid.

1.4 To prevent fraud and protect Farmfest and you, we may carry out checks and/or you may be asked to provide additional information (such as a copy of a credit or debit card statement) after your booking so we can verify your purchase. If we suspect fraud we may cancel any order or tickets.

1.5 An order for tickets is not complete until accepted by us. We try to ensure all prices are accurate but errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of tickets you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and we may either cancel the order (in which case you will be refunded the ticket price and any booking, transaction or supplementary fees you have paid) or give you the option of confirming your order at the correct price.

1.6 You must inform Farmfest by email on enquiries@farmfestival.co.uk or any other agency through whom you have bought tickets, of any change of address, contact phone number or email address, both before and after receipt of the tickets. Our preferred method to contact you is email, so you should take care to provide a current, valid email address and be aware that your email filter settings may treat our emails as spam or direct them to your junk folder. If you are going to be away from home prior to the Event we recommend providing us with a mobile number. In the event of any changes which you need to know about we cannot be held responsible for not being able to contact you in these circumstances. See 2.6 below.

2. DELIVERY AND COLLECTION

2.1 Tickets will be dispatched to you electronically in the form of a proof of booking.

2.2 Confirmation of ticket purchase should be received within 24 hours, you must bring your proof of booking to the Festival Weekend to exchange for your ticket/wristband.

2.2.1 Confirmation of ticket can be presented on a screen or as a printed document.

2.2.2 Failure to produce confirmation may result in entry being denied.

2.3 Always check your tickets upon receipt and advise us promptly of any errors. Mistakes when ordering cannot always be corrected and any corrections are discretionary.

3. CANCELLATION RIGHTS AND REFUNDS

3.1 Tickets cannot be transferred or exchanged once purchased other than for the reasons set out in these terms and conditions.

3.2 If the event takes place but you do not receive the tickets you have purchased for any of the following reasons you will be refunded the ticket price and any booking, transaction or supplementary fees you have paid:

4. CANCELLATION, CHANGE OR POSTPONEMENT OF AN EVENT

4.1 Farmfest will do their best to inform you of any change to or cancellation of the Event, but cannot be held responsible for any resulting costs you may incur for travel, accommodation, any other related goods or service or other compensation including the non-refundable booking fee

4.2 You should always check that the Event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time and venue via the website at www.farmfestival.co.uk

4.3 If the Event is cancelled Farmfest will try to inform you. This will usually be by email. In urgent cases it may be by phone.

4.4 If the Event is rescheduled or moved, Farmfest will automatically roll over  your tickets to the new date/location, or alternatively you can apply for  a refund. This decision is at the Events discretion.

4.5 If the Event is cancelled by Farmfest you will normally be offered a refund. This decision is at the Events discretion.

4.6 In the event of a refund following cancellation, Farmfest will not be liable for any costs of travel, accommodation or other related goods or services including the non-refundable booking fee

4.7 Changes to the Festival content are made at the sole discretion of Farmfest and any such changes will not incur any ticket refunds.

5. REFUNDS

5.1 All tickets purchased are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable. If you booked tickets for the 2021 festival and could not attend due to contracting Covid-19, a member of the team should have been in touch to make you aware of the options available to you. All email correspondence would have been sent to the email address you used to book your tickets.

6.CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT AS A RESULT OF COVID 19

6.1 If the Event is cancelled or postponed before it has started due to the Covid 19 pandemic then you will be eligible for a refund. 

6.2 In the event of postponement of the Event before it has started, and where it is rescheduled to another date, Farmfest will roll  existing tickets over to the rescheduled date or the ticket holder may apply for a refund. Refunds under these circumstances must be applied for within 3 months of the date of cancellation/postponement. Any refund requests must be made via enquiries@farmfestival.co.uk

6.3 In light of the current COVID 19 pandemic, you understand that there are particular risks associated with attending any outdoor gathering (including the Event).  We will take reasonable steps to comply with any relevant guidelines intended to reduce the spread of COVID 19 and we will make you aware of these measures. However, we cannot be responsible for the behaviour or health of other Event attendees and cannot effectively ensure that no attendees at the Event will have COVID-19. Accordingly, we will not be responsible if you catch COVID-19 at the Event or for any illness or death of any Event attendees caused by COVID 19.


6.3.1  You understand and accept that you will be attending the Event and using any facilities on-site at your own risk. 

6.3.2 To help us to reduce the spread of COVID 19, we ask that you:

1. do not attend the Event if*:

2. you have tested positive for COVID 19 within 14 days of the commencement of the Event;

3. you display any symptoms of COVID 19;

4. you live with somebody who displays symptoms of COVID 19 or who has tested positive for COVID 19 within 14 days of the commencement of the Event; or

5. you are otherwise required to self-isolate.

*note that where there is a conflict between any of the provisions in this paragraph and any updated government guidelines, the updated government guidelines will apply ;

1. follow all guidelines and/or entry requirements notified by us to you and which will apply to your attendance at the Event. This may include testing on entry or prior to attending the Event. We may be required to amend our guidelines before or during the Event and ask that you comply with any updated guidelines notified to you;

2. follow all government guidelines (which may be updated from time to time);

3. download and use the government’s official COVID 19 tracing app or provide your contact details to a member of Event staff as directed upon entering the Event for the purpose of notifying you where you may have come into contact with somebody who has tested positive for COVID 19;

4. you notify us if you test positive for COVID 19 after attending the Event so that we can notify attendees who may have come into contact with you whilst at the Event.

6.4  You understand that we have the right, at our complete discretion, to:

1. refuse entry to any attendee who we reasonably believe may display COVID 19 symptoms or who may not have followed Government guidelines or our guidelines or entry requirements;

2. require that any attendee leaves the Event where we reasonably believe that they may not be complying with these terms or any of our or Government guidelines in force in relation to COVID-19.

7. ATTENDING THE EVENT

7.1 Admission to an event is at all times subject to any terms, conditions or rules of Farmfest, the activity providers and the venue operator. If you breach those terms, conditions or rules then Farmfest may refuse admission or require you or other ticket holders to leave the venue.

7.2 Amongst other things you will need to comply with health and safety rules and any security requirements (including security searches for the safety of those attending the event). Farmfest have rights to refuse admission or eject you if you are involved with abusive, threatening, drunken or other anti-social behaviour, or carry offensive weapons or illegal or prohibited substances or make unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings. In light of Covid-19 Farmfest have the right to implement new measures to keep our staff & ticket holders safe.

7.3 Before you finalise your booking, please read all the information that applies to the Event and/or ticket. If you or any member of your party has particular requirements, please raise these when booking and we will endeavour to address your query. There can be no guarantee that requirements can be met if notified at the Event.

7.4 When you receive your tickets check the details carefully.

7.5 Only those aged 18 or over will be able to buy or consume alcohol at the Event. The Event operates a Challenge 21 or Challenge 25 policy at the bars. If, in the judgement of the bar Operator, acting on behalf of Farmfest, you look younger than either 21 or 25 and yet you are 18 years or over you must have valid ID in order to purchase or consume alcohol. Without this ID you will not be served and if you persist in consuming alcohol you may be evicted from the Event.

7.6 You can bring your own alcohol into the campsite, but not into the arena.

7.6.1 If you are found bringing your own alcohol into the arena it will be confiscated or you will not be allowed entry. Farmfest cannot be held responsible for returning the alcohol to you or for refunding any costs incurred by you.

7.7 Farmfest reserves the right to search all bags for alcohol, drugs or other prohibited items, prior to entering the Festival Site.

7.8 The Event, including all activities, are likely to be filmed and/or photographed for promotion after the event. By purchasing a ticket and taking part in the Event you are giving permission for your image to be used in any future promotion. These images and recordings remain the property of Farmfest and there will be no money paid to you if your image is used.

7.9 Farmfest can take no responsibility for the loss (including theft) or damage of any personal property or equipment which you bring to the Event.

8. PRIVACY

8.1 Farmfest will store your personal information and will use it to provide you with information regarding the Event and any activity you have entered and other, similar events which we think may be of interest. Your contact details will never be passed to any other persons or organisations unless required to do so by law.

8.2 We will always respect your privacy and any personal communication between you and ourselves. We will always comply with United Kingdom data protection legislation.

8.3 If you make an online booking using this website, you will be required to input payment details, including the details of your credit or debit card. This information will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy

9. DISCLAIMER AND LIABILITY

9.1 Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information in this website is correct as at the date it is posted, Farmfest does not warrant the accuracy and completeness of the material on this website and the information on this website may be out of date.

9.2 All details are subject to change and alteration at the sole discretion of Farmfest. 

10. GENERAL

The purchase by you of tickets and these terms and conditions (and any contractual or non-contractual matters arising in relation to these terms and conditions) are governed by English law and any disputes arising out of any transaction between you and Farmfest are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

11. DELIVERY

11.1 A confirmation email will be sent confirming the tickets purchased. This email is proof of payment. Your tickets will be sent in a separate email, you must bring this to the festival to gain entry.
